Michael P. Yacono, Sr. of Mt. Holly passed away Wednesday April 2, 2014 at his residence. He was 80. Mike was born in Mt. Holly, NJ and had lived all his life in Mt. Holly.
He had worked for Mt. Holly Township for 17 years. Mike in his early years like to hunt and fish.
He is survived by his wife Edith Yacono (nee-Taylor); his son Michael Yacono, Jr.; three grandchildren: Samantha, Alexis, and Tyler Yacono; and one great-grandchild Brooklyn Blewster.
Mike is also survived by a brother Nicholas Distefano and a sister Mary Bodine.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday April 9th at 11AM at the LEE FUNERAL HOME, 317 High St., Mt. Holly. Relatives and Friends may visit with the family Wednesday
morning from 10-11AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in the Mt. Holly Cemetery. Arrangements were made with Ed Kaelin III at the LEE FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Holly.
