Obituary for Vyctur Jerome Paul "Vyc" Lamb

Vyctur Jerome Paul Lamb, 38, of Westampton, NJ unexpectedly transitioned from Earth to Glory on May 2, 2023. Affectionately known as Romeo to his family and close friends, he was born July 23, 1984, in Camden, New Jersey to the late Victor Jerome Paul and Freda Joyce (nee Jackson) Lamb.
Vyctur accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior in March 2023, and was at the beginning of his Christian journey in this life at the time of his return to our Heavenly Father.
Vyctur was a precocious child, always inquisitive and curious about things and people around him. He was always ready and willing to delve into unchartered territory, with little caution about repercussions – a typical little boy! He was educated throughout his formative years in the Willingboro, NJ School District, and is a 2003 graduate of Rancocas Valley Regional High School. Upon graduation from High School, Vyctur enrolled in South Bronx JobCorps in New York, New York. After successful completion of JobCorps, Vyctur began working for private industry in New York City and enrolled in Hunter College. Upon his return to New Jersey, Vyctur worked as a forklift operator. Until a debilitating injury in 2015 caused permanent disability, Vyctur was pursuing licensure as a Certified Forklift Mechanic. Vyctur also completed associate degree coursework at Rowan College of Burlington County. At the time of his passing Vyctur was enrolled in Empire Beauty School to pursue a career in barbering.
Vyctur loved art, fashion, and most things Avant Garde. He had a passion for footwear, anime, pizza, and most things NYC-related. Romeo was incredibly intuitive and led with his heart. As he matured in age and his Christian faith, he readily acknowledged and applied the lessons learned from the experiences of his youth and immaturity.Although he never formally married nor had children, Vyctur loved family and considered his dear friends an extension of his larger family. He developed special relationships with people in his adolescence that continued throughout adulthood. Vyctur was a kind, compassionate, empathetic soul who freely gave love to everyone – particularly to those he felt were ostracized by their own families and society-at-large. Vyctur was predeceased by his father, Victor Jerome Paul; brother DaShaun M. Robinson; maternal grandmother Vernell Moore; and paternal grandfather Howard Leon Paul, Sr.
Vyctur/Romeo leaves to cherish his beloved memory, his mother, Freda (Joyce) Lamb; step-father Howard Dukes; committed partner Alicia Reaves and her daughter, Kyelle, whom Romeo loved as his own; brothers Keyon Dukes; Derrick Dukes; and Andre Dukes; sister Vycturea Paul; grandfather Rufus Jackson; grandmother Lillie Graves; aunt Phyllis Jackson-Smith; aunt Lesia Davis; uncles Willie Moore and Halleen Moore; cousin Lynnell Battles, and a host of family and friends.
