Obituary for Kenneth James "Kenny" Sweet
Kenneth James Sweet of Browns Mills, NJ passed away suddenly on Friday April 21, 2023 at his residence, at the age of 66. He was born in Mt. Holly, NJ and had been a lifelong resident of the Browns Mills area. Kenny worked are various farms through the years. He enjoyed taking walks and swimming in the whitesbogs area in Browns Mills, fishing, hunting and just being in the outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Hilda Sweet Sr., his siblings Harry Sweet Jr., William Sweet, Herbert Sweet, Rose Hopkins, Cheryl Sweet and Betty Hopkins. Kenny is survived by his two daughters: Hilda M. Fiedler (William Rellstab) and Christina Gordon (Tyler); his grandchildren: Grace Rellstab, Olivia Gordon, Larry Wyatt, Caleb Barger and Josh Barger; his siblings Loretta Rivas, Charles Sweet (Mildred), Donald Sweet, Barbara Ramos-Sweet (Edwin) and Linda Hopkins (Ronald); and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Kenny’s Life will be held on Thursday April 27, 2023 at 7PM at the Lee Funeral Home, 317 High St., Mt. Holly, NJ. Relatives and Friends may visit with the family Thursday evening from 5-7PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family in the First Baptist Church, South Pemberton Road, Pemberton. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Kenny to the funeral home to help cover funeral expenses or to a Go Fund Me page started by his family.
