Joyce M. Wassmann of Moorestown passed away November 18, 2020 at Virtua-Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, at the age of 72. She was born in Lowville, NY and had been a longtime resident of Moorestown, NJ. Joyce had worked as a product planner at EMD Diagnostics for 30 plus years with an additional 8 years at Firmenich and was currently working at Tastepoint. She was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, enjoyed gardening, going to the movies, hanging out with friends; but her biggest love was spending time with her family, especially with her granddaughter Mackenzie. Joyce was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend who will be deeply missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Milton Gerow & Chuck White, her cousin Rita Bush and her sister and brother-in-law Dolores and Harlow Ashland. Joyce is survived by her two sons: William “Billy” Wassmann and Jon Wassmann (Leah); her granddaughter: Mackenzie Wassmann; her longtime friend and ex-husband William Wassmann; her brothers Tommy Gerow and Rick White (Diane); and her sisters: Patricia Deegan, Debbie Brown (Bob) and Jo Ann Kiessling (Tom). She is also survived by her sister-in-law: Charlotte Gerow and Carrie White; and close friends: Diane Crain and Jeff Gelfand and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a Mass of Celebration on Saturday November 28th at 11AM at the Holy Eucharist Church, Carranza Road, Tabernacle, NJ. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joyce's memory to her son Billy Wassmann as he continues his battle with Crohn’s Diease or for her Granddaughter Mackenzie Wassmann’s Scholarship Fund.
